"This camp is exactly what I needed. It has truly changed my life! I was very hesitant to join the boot camp at first. I was worried I would be too out of shape to participate well enough. I also worried about not fitting in with the other women in the group. Boy, did I worry for nothing! Kristin does an excellent job creating workouts to challenge all fitness levels. Everyone is able to exercise at their own pace and comfort level. She always gives multiple ways to perform each exercise, which especially comes in handy if you have any body injuries such as a bad back or knee. The women are wonderful! They are very down to earth and are great at motivating you to do your best. Before camp, I had tried exercising and dieting on my own. I got some good results at first, but I quickly hit a plateau I couldn't get past. I was starting to give up hope thinking I would never get my pre-pregnancies body back. "Wow - Where do I begin to describe this program !!!!    As my husband can attest to, I am 34 years old and for the last 5 years, I have been telling him that I am going to back into shape, which meant to me losing weight.   Each year, I would start a program, either on my own or with a personal trainer, but wasn't successful in finding a program that motivated me to stick with it, until I started Boot camp 3 months ago.  When I told my husband that I had signed up for a 5:30 AM Boot camp 5 days a week, he thought I was kidding (let's just say he knows how much I enjoy sleeping ).   At the time, I had no idea the impact that it would have on my life.   After completing my first week of Camp, I was addicted !!!    People ask me how I stay motivated to get up so early every morning and the truth is, I don't exactly know.  It could be slight soreness I feel everyday just walking to meetings at work that constantly reminds me of how hard I worked that morning,  or maybe it's that I no longer care how much the scale tells me weigh, or it might be that I now enjoy participating in 5K Fun Runs on the weekends (did I mention that I've never been a  strong runner before I started camp?), or maybe its my trainer who encourages me to more today than I did yesterday & always seems to find a way to make exercise really FUN.  This program has changed my life.

"So, I decided to try on my skinnier jeans before I retired, so that I would have either sweet dreams or the motivation to move my tushie in the morning.  I also figured that I would be at my most...puffy at this point.  Always a good challenge.

 The jeans actually fit.  I can get them on, zip and button them, sit down in them and still be able to breathe!  I still have a bit of a muffin-top, but I can wear them...I can wear them!!  Those kettlebells are really working!  Well, that, plus laying off the cookies and the french fries, and moving my booty so very much....

 I'm now down 5" in my waist, 1 notch on my belt and a whole jean size in just 7 weeks.  You are the bomb!  I never thought I would love someone who is so danged perky that early, but you are definitely La Reyna (that means THE QUEEN!).

"Now here I am totally a different person from the process.  I can't even begin to explain how different I feel.  Physically, I am stronger and have better endurance.  I have more energy, sleep better, and am not so lazy anymore!!!  But the most important change is my mental change.  It is so hard to put into words, but I just feel better.  I feel better about myself, my situation, my life, my relationships, my everything.  I never knew that taking care of myself through exercise and eating right could have such an effect on me mentally. 

This experience has helped me in so many ways, but most importantly it has taught me the amazing effect that a positive and encouraging spirit and personal drive can have on someone. This has truly been another life changing event for me, but this time a change for the better!!! 

I know I can do anything now.  I know that life can't throw anything at me that is too difficult to handle.  I know that I have a purpose here on Earth to do for other women what each of you have done for me.  Most of all, I know I have a group of women, and a fearless leader in Kristin, who will continually support me and encourage me of to remember these three truths.

  • every day is different, new and challenging
  • you are looking out for us to make sure we have proper form

"I found out about Boot Camp on a Thursday thru some friends.  Immediately I went to the website, I was intrigued by the information I found there.  My friends were only interested in talking, but I was interested in finding results.  I decided I could do anything for 20 days. 

I must tell you that I am not a morning person!  But this has become my time.  My family comes first, but there is no interference at 5:30 in the morning.  I love getting my exercise in first thing; I don't have to concern myself with it again all day.

I am definitely motivated by all the other women at camp.  There is constant encouragement and lots of high fives.  The results are awesome!  I have lost over 35 lbs.  I feel great.  Physically I am stronger, mentally I am more focused, and emotionally less stressed.  I am at the top of my game.  Not only have I committed for the rest of this year, I have already signed up for the whole next year as well."

"The best thing about Boot Camp is the fact that I can work out with great women in a great atmosphere.  Working out has never been my idea of a good time, but with boot camp I do enjoy it...a lot! I feel stronger and better about myself when I'm in camp.

I have had lower back problems for about 5 years.  I needed to strengthen my core muscles and add support to for my back.  A friend told me about Boot Camp.  It looked like fun, but little did I know how beneficial it would be.  After completing 3 camps, my back is stronger and I am stronger as a person.  Boot Camp is fun, competitive, and definitely worth the effort! Strong Women is what it is all about!"

"The first time I signed up for boot camp, I went to maybe 4 sessions. I felt like a failure and didn't really want to show my face again. So when it was time to sign up for the next boot camp, I was determined not to quit again. I was so nervous the first day that I kept waking up too early trying to be sure I was not going to be late! I did not want to do any push ups the first day. " I started Boot camp back in May to "kick start" my work out program again.  I had gotten lazy and unmotivated.  Within a month, I could tell a difference in my body -- felt stronger and slimmer!

But the biggest benefit has been in the health results.  Two years ago I was diagnosed with oestopena (pre-osteoporosis).  Since my Mom had suffered from this, I knew I had to take it seriously.  The doctor prescribed medication and I took Citracal and really tried to increase my calcium intake.  The next year it had not gotten any better.  But this year when I got my bone density test they had to run it twice to be sure.  My bones had improved so much my doctor said she could jump for joy.  I'm off the medication and her prescription was "do this boot camp thing for as long as you can!"
